MyRealTrip Establishes CXO Organization... Hires Jonathan Jung, Former Google US Employee Jonathan Jung CXO

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] MyRealTrip (CEO Lee Dong-gun) announced on the 26th that it has recruited Jonathan Jung, Chief Experience Officer (CXO), who previously worked at Google headquarters and Coupang, to enhance customers' service experience.

The CXO position is aimed at improving the overall service experience with a 'customer-centric' approach. This role is increasingly being adopted by American tech companies such as TripAdvisor and Airbnb.

Jonathan Jung graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in the United States and, after working at Microsoft, served as design lead at Google headquarters, leading the launch of numerous services including Android and Google Play. He also led user experience improvements for Coupang, Coupang Eats, Rocket Fresh, and Wow Membership as the head of UX at Coupang (Executive Vice President).

MyRealTrip plans to aggressively hire talent across all departments, including the establishment of the CXO organization, focusing not only on enhancing customer experience but also on leading changes in the post-pandemic era.

Jonathan Jung, CXO, said, "I will focus on recommending various travel destinations and products to customers and lowering the barriers to new travel experiences to provide a wide range of experiences," adding, "Customers will visit MyRealTrip every day to dream of new travels and experience joy and excitement."
