[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Oasis Market, a dawn delivery specialist, announced on the 25th that it will hold the 'GAP Seasonal Agricultural Products Special Exhibition' until the 31st. GAP stands for Good Agricultural Practices, a certification system that establishes a safety management system for the entire process of production, harvesting, and packaging of domestically grown agricultural products to supply safe agricultural products to consumers.
This special exhibition is part of the 'Let's Support Korean Agriculture' project conducted with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, offering up to 52% in-house discounts and an additional 20% coupon. However, the coupon discount is capped at a maximum of 10,000 KRW.
More than 200 items of fresh domestic agricultural products are showcased. Representative products include ▲GAP Cheonggyeongchae (bok choy) ▲GAP apple eaten with skin ▲GAP low-carbon Seongju chamoe (Korean melon) ▲GAP color jujube cherry tomatoes, among others.
Since 2020, Oasis Market has been collaborating with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs on various projects such as 'Euratcha! Our Agricultural Products' and 'Chandeulmaru.' Through these efforts, they have converted competitive products to direct purchase, leading to increased income for domestic agricultural producers. In some cases last year, monthly sales increased by 400 times after switching to direct purchase.
