Lotte Ventures, the startup-focused investment company of Lotte Group, is recruiting for the second cohort of Future Diet.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Ventures, the startup investment company of Lotte Group, announced on the 25th that it is recruiting for the 2nd phase of the Future Diet program.
Future Diet is an extension program of L-Camp, which is run in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency. It is a program that specializes in supporting food tech startups.
The recruitment fields include four categories: ▲‘Future Food,’ which involves future food and beverage technologies and ideas that can replace current food and beverage products; ▲‘Medi Food,’ functional foods tailored to specific target groups; ▲‘Packaging,’ related to environmentally friendly and sustainable food and beverage packaging technologies and ideas; and ▲‘Alternative Ingredients,’ which focuses on discovering new and alternative ingredients to solve environmental issues related to ingredient supply.
The application period is until the 10th of next month. Benefits provided include ▲technical mentoring related to development and consulting on branding and marketing ▲opportunities for partner matching with Lotte Group affiliates ▲up to three companies can receive follow-up support through the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Da-Star Solver Platform Open Innovation Program ▲free use of shared office space at Lotte Central Research Institute ▲and investment opportunities of up to 500 million KRW per company.
