[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] LG Electronics is strengthening its global gaming monitor market presence by launching new LG UltraGear gaming monitors that offer differentiated customer experiences.

On the 25th, LG Electronics announced the release of three new LG UltraGear gaming monitor models (model numbers: 32GQ950, 32GQ850, 48GQ900) that combine ▲optimal gaming performance for enjoying high-spec games comfortably, ▲clear image quality, and ▲various convenient features and connectivity options.

The 32GQ950 features a 32-inch 4K UHD (3840x2160) Nano IPS panel. The Nano IPS panel, which expresses pure colors close to reality, delivers a 1ms GtG (Gray to Gray) response time, allowing fast game scenes to be displayed smoothly and clearly.

The 32GQ850 (domestic name: 32GQ850L) supports a 1ms GtG response time and a 240Hz high refresh rate that displays 240 frames per second on a QHD (2560x1440) Nano IPS panel, showing dynamic game scenes without afterimages or stuttering. Using the overclock feature, which increases the refresh rate with simple operation, it can achieve up to 260Hz.

The 48GQ900 is the first LG UltraGear gaming monitor to feature an OLED panel. It supports the overwhelming black expression of OLED, a 0.1ms GtG response time, and a maximum refresh rate of 138Hz (when overclocked).

Its slim design is also an advantage, making it suitable for use on a desk despite its large screen. It has been recognized for its excellent design by winning the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award, two of the world's top three design awards. The domestic prices are 1,690,000 KRW for the 32GQ950, 1,090,000 KRW for the 32GQ850, and 2,090,000 KRW for the 48GQ900, respectively.

Seoyoung Jae, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics IT Business Division, said, “With LG UltraGear products featuring differentiated performance, we will provide customers with an immersive gaming experience that goes beyond simply enjoying games to actually feeling like they are experiencing them.”
