The Presidential Office announced at 7:07 a.m. that day, "President Yoon has instructed the convening of the NSC chaired by the President," adding, "The NSC chaired by the President is scheduled to be held soon."
This is the first time the NSC chaired by the President has been held since the new government took office on the 10th. During North Korea's missile launch on the 12th, a 'National Security Office Inspection Meeting' was held, chaired by Kim Sung-han, Director of the National Security Office.
