According to major media outlets including Bloomberg News, a shooting took place at Rob Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, where 15 people, including 14 children and one teacher, were killed. The suspect, an 18-year-old male, is also presumed dead due to police response. Texas Governor Greg Abbott stated that the perpetrator was armed with a handgun and a rifle.

Additionally, 13 students are receiving treatment in the emergency room at Uvalde Memorial Hospital, and some injured individuals have been transferred to a hospital in San Antonio.
