[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The 'VR Experience Center' at Hampyeong Expo Park is gaining popularity, surpassing 3,000 cumulative visitors within one month of its opening by offering unique fun and enjoyment.
According to the county on the 24th, the 'VR Experience Center,' which opened on April 22 on the first floor of the Expo Park Theme Video Hall, recorded 3,000 cumulative visitors as of the 23rd.
This result came just over a month after full-scale operation began, with revenue from usage fees exceeding 27 million won.
The popularity is attributed to the variety of experience devices available for all ages, including VR (virtual reality) attractions such as roller coasters and underwater exploration, as well as screen shooting and screen soccer AR (augmented reality).
A county official said, “Expo Park offers not only the VR Experience Center but also various attractions such as night scenery and a drive-in theater. We hope families and friends will come to Hampyeong Expo Park to escape the increasingly hot weather.”
Meanwhile, the Hampyeong Expo Park 'VR Experience Center' is equipped with 12 types of the latest VR devices, including Future Bike, drones, space travel, and underwater exploration, as well as 2 types of AR devices such as screen shooting and screen soccer.
