[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Grand Josun Jeju announced on the 24th that it will offer room and F&B promotions in collaboration with the world's best-selling Scotch whisky brand 'Johnnie Walker' until the 19th of next month.
The 'The Blue Experience' package is a room promotion. The existing Hill Studio Suite and Prestige Hill Suite rooms have been transformed into concept rooms called 'Blue Suite Rooms,' embodying the identity of Johnnie Walker Blue. Each room is set with an 'In-room Johnnie Walker Blue Experience Set,' consisting of one bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue (500ml) and one set of exclusive Glencairn glasses (2ea). As a gift, a bath bomb set (2ea) is provided.
The package includes access to 'Grand J,' a private lounge exclusively for Hill Suite guests, with benefits for two people (benefits for four people apply when staying in the Prestige Hill Suite). When using the Grand Choice service, which operates in the evening and offers champagne, premium liquors, and small plate selections, guests can choose Johnnie Walker Blue as the pairing liquor.
At Grand J, a 'Johnnie Walker Blue Private Whisky Class' taught by World Class Korea bartenders is held until the third week of June to help guests better understand the aroma and taste of whisky. The whisky class, exclusively for Hill Suite guests, is held every Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. for about 50 minutes. Reservations for the class can be made in advance at the Grand J reception.
Additionally, the Lounge & Bar offers limited sales of the 'Johnnie Walker Blue Bottle (750ml) Set' and 'Glass (2 glasses) Set' until June 19th. When purchasing the bottle set, guests receive a complimentary set of two Glencairn glasses along with a fruit or cheese & charcuterie plate. A laser engraving service is also available to inscribe a personalized message on the bottle. When ordering the glass set, two Josun Deli macarons are provided. These sets can also be enjoyed through in-room dining. The set menu is available from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The prices are 700,000 KRW for the bottle set and 100,000 KRW for the glass set (tax included).
Throughout the main building of Grand Josun Jeju, various spots such as hologram showcases and photo zones featuring the brand identity of Johnnie Walker Blue are set up, allowing guests to capture memorable photos and create lasting memories of their hotel stay.
A marketing representative from Grand Josun Jeju said, “We have prepared various promotions in collaboration with Johnnie Walker Blue, which pairs well with the refreshing summer of Jeju, to provide unique experiences for customers visiting Grand Josun Jeju.” They added, “We hope guests create joyful memories through the Johnnie Walker Blue concept rooms and special gifts, and we will continue to propose experiences exclusive to Grand Josun Jeju through collaborations with various brands.”
Meanwhile, the Hill Suite building, consisting entirely of suites, is a newly constructed space with 50 rooms, offering views of both Jeju Sea and Hallasan Mountain. From check-in services to ancillary facilities, everything is operated separately, allowing guests to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Jeju while experiencing safe and private services. Exclusive facilities for the Hill Suite building include the all-day private lounge ‘Grand J,’ rooftop ‘Heavenly Pool,’ and relaxation space ‘Heavenly Lounge.’
In addition to the Hill Suite facilities, guests can enjoy the main building’s swimming pools (Garden Pool and adult-only Peak Point Pool), which operate as heated pools year-round, as well as wellness benefits at the fitness center and sauna. Various items such as baby products, general travel goods, health and exercise equipment, and fun & entertainment supplies are available for free rental through the Lending Library. Guests can also enjoy the Josun Junior Kids Club and other diverse benefits.
