SK Chemicals Launches Trust 'Tottenham Hotspur Edition'

SK Chemicals Launches Trust 'Tottenham Hotspur Edition'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] SK Chemicals announced on the 24th that it has signed a licensing agreement with Tottenham Hotspur FC, where national soccer player Son Heung-min, the top scorer of this season's English Premier League (EPL), plays, and released the 'Trust' renewal edition. This is the first time a domestic pharmaceutical company has signed an official licensing agreement with Tottenham.

The Trust Tottenham Edition package features Tottenham players such as Son Heung-min, Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Japhet Tanganga, and the official emblem.

SK Chemicals plans to expand its consumer target by appealing to sports enthusiasts who enjoy soccer, golf, and other sports through the images of Tottenham players including Son Heung-min.

Trust is the world's first arthritis treatment patch launched by SK Chemicals in 1996, with over 200 million units sold to date. It has strong adhesion that lasts for 48 hours, allowing comfortable use even during intense exercise, and unlike regular patches, it provides anti-inflammatory effects on the pain area, effectively relieving pain that occurs repeatedly in specific areas.

Jung Kyung-hyun, team leader at SK Chemicals, said, “The launch of the Tottenham Edition will be an opportunity for Trust, which has been popular mainly among the elderly for 26 years, to expand its consumer base to younger generations.” He added, “We will actively utilize Tottenham’s young and dynamic image and Trust’s unique strengths to carry out various marketing activities targeting young people who enjoy sports such as soccer and golf.”
