Since the Flower Shop was launched in early May, the transaction amount for flowers sold has surged more than fourfold compared to the beginning of this year.
According to 11st on the 24th, the Flower Shop is a non-face-to-face flower store that curates various flowers in line with the trend of consuming flowers even on ordinary days. As demand for online flower delivery has expanded mainly among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) after COVID-19, 11st prepared this specialized section reflecting customer needs.
May is a season with many flower gifts such as Parents' Day, Teachers' Day, Coming-of-Age Day, and Rose Day, so online flower gifting and delivery were actively conducted. From the 1st to the 22nd of May, the transaction amount for flowers sold through the gift service increased by 343% (4.4 times) compared to the same period in January and rose 30% compared to the previous month. The average daily transaction amount in May was also 83% higher than usual.
11st offers about 430 products in the Flower Shop, including bouquets, vases, potted plants, and soap flowers, and provides recommendations by price range such as under 10,000 KRW, 10,000?20,000 KRW, 20,000?30,000 KRW, and 30,000?50,000 KRW. They also introduce unique products like subscription flower delivery services and premium preserved flowers such as the 'Preserved Hydrangea Bouquet.'
To support local flower farms that suffered due to COVID-19 last year, 11st is actively onboarding regional sellers based on direct farm delivery. ‘Soyoungine Flower,’ a flower farm in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do (seller name: Pillangmallang), recently joined 11st and held its first online event.

Through the Flower Shop, prepared to meet the more diverse flower consumption patterns such as online flower orders and subscription deliveries, anyone can conveniently shop for flowers online.”
