Hanwha Aero is a specialized company in gas turbine engines for fighter jets, helicopters, and naval vessels. Hanwha Aero explained that the government recognized its exemplary operation of security systems to protect defense industry technology and confidential information. As hacking attempts and security incidents targeting defense companies have become frequent recently, Hanwha Aero is making special efforts to build a strong security system and strengthen security awareness among its executives and employees.
They strictly apply the network security technology called 'network separation' to protect internal resources from external intrusion, fundamentally blocking external access. They prevent data leakage through all channels by reporting malicious emails, automatic deletion of stored data on PCs, intelligent security solutions, and real-time intrusion detection and response. They are also thoroughly responding to various security risks through proactive penetration testing. In addition to the system, they continue efforts to raise security awareness among executives and employees, including resident partner companies, through regular training.
