30s Woman Arrested for Knife Rampage in the Heart of Gangnam

According to the police on the 23rd, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul has booked and is investigating a woman in her 30s, identified as A, on charges of attempted special injury.

A is reported to have swung a weapon at women who were drinking in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, around 12:05 a.m. the previous day, saying, "Why are you drinking without me?"

A police official stated, "Some of the victims sustained minor injuries while restraining A, but it has been confirmed that no one was injured by the weapon," adding, "We are investigating the specific motive behind the crime."
