[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced that it will start the parking sharing platform app ‘Kkul Parking’ service from the 23rd.
This service helps drivers easily find and use available parking spots by searching for parking lots near their destination.
A total of 870 parking lot locations are registered and provided to users on Kkul Parking.
Among them, 660 parking lots allow real-time checking of parking lot location, available spaces, parking fees, operating hours, and congestion by time slot.
The city plans to continuously expand parking lots that provide real-time information by linking public and private parking lot information.
Kkul Parking can also be linked and operated with navigation apps such as T map, KakaoMap, and Naver Map.
In particular, the city explained that it has enhanced user convenience by linking with the local unmanned rental bicycle system ‘Tashu’ and the illegal parking enforcement pre-notification service ‘Parking Bell’.
Kkul Parking can be used by downloading and installing it from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Choi Gyo-shin, head of the Smart City Division, said, “Through Kkul Parking, we hope to contribute in part to resolving the parking inconveniences experienced by Daejeon citizens,” and added, “We will do our best to improve citizens’ quality of life by continuously providing more parking lot information and discovering new services.”
