[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] On the 23rd, Naju City in Jeollanam-do announced that the Naju Central Senior Welfare Center and the National Fitness 100 Naju Fitness Certification Center under Dongshin University signed a business agreement aimed at systematic health management for the local elderly population.
Through the agreement, the two organizations agreed to establish an organic cooperation system for operating fitness enhancement and exercise programs to improve the health of the welfare center's elderly members.
The welfare center will provide necessary data and support system operation for fitness measurement and exercise prescription for the elderly, while the center will offer on-site fitness measurement support for elderly members affiliated with the welfare center, exercise prescriptions for basic fitness management, and fitness improvement education programs.
Additionally, the center plans to issue National Fitness 100 certificates to those with excellent fitness levels, aiming to motivate the elderly participants for continuous and systematic health management.
A city official stated, "Through this agreement, we plan to support fitness enhancement programs that meet the health management needs of local seniors in the era of 100-year lifespans," adding, "We will strive for mutual cooperation to successfully promote the project and efficiently operate the center."
