On the 23rd, Kim Eun-hye, the People Power Party candidate running for the Gyeonggi Province governor election this June, set out to win over public sentiment in northern Gyeonggi. Around 8 a.m., Kim met citizens during her morning commute greetings in Paju. Wearing a white jumper with her name on it, jeans, and white gloves, she repeatedly made a ‘V’ sign with her hand toward passing vehicles and bowed at a 90-degree angle. Beside her was Cho Byung-guk, the People Power Party candidate for Paju mayor. About 50 campaign workers in red jumpers danced to lively music and shouted "Kim Eun-hye."

During the campaign, Kim focused on expanding the transportation network in northern Gyeonggi. After greeting commuters, she got on the campaign vehicle and said, "I know well the painful times when you are exhausted even before your commute begins," adding, "I will become a governor who can be your hands and feet through the express service on Line 3 and GTX." She continued, "When Kim Eun-hye acts, President Yoon Seok-yeol, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong, and Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon act," appealing for support by saying, "Please give me a chance to work."

She also promoted a "100% reduction in property tax for one household, one house." Wearing a placard with this phrase around her neck, she emphasized lowering the increased property tax burden from the previous Moon Jae-in administration. Kim held a press conference at the northern branch of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government in Uijeongbu and announced five key pledges for northern Gyeonggi: ▲attracting semiconductor conglomerates ▲establishing a global economic security belt in border areas ▲creating a new economic free zone office and an advanced triangular belt ▲deregulation reform ▲and expanding the transportation network.

While most citizens passed by without much reaction, some opened their windows and waved in support. Kim responded by waving her hand and saying "Thank you" to the citizens who loudly shouted "Kim Eun-hye fighting."
