Written Exam on the 28th... Interview in June and Results Announcement in July
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) recorded an application competition rate of 81 to 1 for its new employee recruitment. For the first time in the past five years, applicants from non-metropolitan areas outnumbered those from metropolitan areas.
KAMCO announced on the 23rd that a total of 6,248 people applied for the 2022 regular new employee recruitment, which will select a total of 77 people. The competition rate was calculated to be 81.1 to 1.
For the first time in the past five years, the number of applicants from non-metropolitan areas surpassed those from metropolitan areas. KAMCO explained that this was likely due to the influence of online and offline recruitment briefings held in collaboration with five regional national universities?Kangwon National University, Chonnam National University, Jeonbuk National University, Chungnam National University, and Chungbuk National University?earlier this year.
KAMCO grants the opportunity to take the written exam to all applicants except those who submitted insincere applications. Accordingly, about 6,000 applicants who passed the document screening will take the written exam on the 28th at a total of 10 test centers in Seoul and Busan.
For those who pass the written exam, interview evaluations to assess job competency?including job-related presentations, in-depth speeches, and situational interviews?will be conducted in June, with the final successful candidates announced in July.
Meanwhile, KAMCO also operates an 'Experiential Internship Program' for young people who want to gain job-related experience and skills. About 40 experiential interns will be recruited through the KAMCO recruitment website in June.
