Injury While Riding Children's Amusement Rides at Wolmi Theme Park An elementary school student was injured after falling while riding an amusement ride at Incheon Wolmi Theme Park.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Wooseok] An elementary school student was injured after falling while riding an amusement ride at a theme park in Wolmido, Incheon.


On the 23rd, the Incheon Fire Headquarters reported that at around 3:58 PM on the 22nd, a boy identified as A (12 years old) fell from a height of 2 to 3 meters to the ground while riding an amusement ride called "Super Jump" at Wolmi Theme Park in Bukseong-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. The Super Jump is a ride that moves up and down while spinning around.


A was injured in his arm and other areas due to the accident and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital by the 119 emergency medical team for treatment.


It was investigated that A was riding the amusement ride together with his older sister at the time of the accident. Additionally, A's parents did not notice his fall.


The police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, including whether A was wearing a safety bar.
