Showcasing Hydrogen Fuel Cell Capabilities at the '2022 World Gas Conference'

Doosan announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the '2022 World Gas Conference' held at Daegu EXCO from the 23rd, showcasing its hydrogen fuel cell capabilities.

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Doosan announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the '2022 World Gas Conference' held at Daegu EXCO from the 23rd to showcase its hydrogen fuel cell capabilities.

Doosan Fuel Cell, Doosan Fuel Cell Power BU, and Doosan Mobility Innovation will participate to introduce various products and solutions utilizing hydrogen fuel cells.

Doosan Fuel Cell will exhibit 'Trigene,' which can simultaneously produce hydrogen, electricity, and heat. This product has advantages such as cost-competitive hydrogen supply, flexible response to hydrogen demand for mobility, and power supply of over 350kW. It has completed preparations for demonstration at the Korea Gas Corporation site in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and plans to commercialize it after demonstration this year.

Doosan Fuel Cell Power BU will display hydrogen fuel cells for buildings and homes, including a 10kW polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell and a 10kW solid oxide fuel cell.

Doosan Mobility Innovation will unveil anti-drone and gas pipeline solutions. The anti-drone solution is designed so that when an illegally intruding drone is detected, a hydrogen drone equipped with a speaker is dispatched urgently to request the intruder to leave through a warning message. The gas pipeline solution monitors the condition of gas pipelines and surrounding hazards through real-time video surveillance and automatic drone flight.

A Doosan official said, "Since global energy-related companies participate in the World Gas Conference, it is an opportunity to secure overseas networks," adding, "We will expand various business value chains utilizing hydrogen fuel cells to contribute to building the domestic hydrogen ecosystem."
