Hoegaarden Zero is a non-alcoholic beverage, but it features the soft and rich taste unique to Hoegaarden wheat beer. Hoegaarden Zero uses the same ingredients as Hoegaarden wheat beer and undergoes the same fermentation and maturation process, with only the alcohol extracted during the final filtration stage, resulting in an alcohol content of 0.05% or less.
The Hoegaarden brand manager said, "We are launching the premium non-alcoholic beverage Hoegaarden Zero in response to the recent consumer trend of increasing demand for non-alcoholic products with health in mind," adding, "As the number one wheat beer brand, we will continue relentless innovation to provide a differentiated brand experience."
Recently, Hoegaarden completely redesigned its product packaging. The 'family look' design, which consistently integrates the design of all Hoegaarden products, has been applied to the Hoegaarden Zero package as well. Along with the package renewal, Hoegaarden is also launching the 'Break to AWAKE' campaign to awaken the senses.
