[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 50s who wielded a weapon in a fit of anger after arguing with a stranger was arrested by the police.

Incheon Gyeyang Police Station announced on the 23rd that they have arrested and are investigating Mr. A (53) on suspicion of attempted murder.

According to the police, Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon at the victim, Mr. B (43), at the entrance of a karaoke room in Gyeyang-gu, Gyesan-dong, at 12:01 a.m. that day.

Mr. A committed the crime under the influence of alcohol after arguing with Mr. B and was arrested on the spot by the police who arrived at the scene.
