[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to decline, the preliminary tally by 9 PM recorded fewer than 10,000 cases.

According to Seoul Metropolitan Government and other local governments, from midnight to 9 PM on the 22nd, a total of 9,656 people across 17 cities and provinces nationwide were confirmed positive for COVID-19. This is the first time in 117 days since January 25 (9,218 cases).
