[Asia Economy Kim Hyun-jun, Golf Specialist Reporter] Park Eun-shin (32), in his 13th year on the tour, became the 'Match King' after a "battle over 20 holes."

On the 22nd, at the final day championship match of the KPGA Descent Korea Munsingwear Match Play (total prize money 800 million KRW) held at De Beach Golf Course in Geoje City, Gyeongnam Province (par 72, 7,216 yards), he defeated Kim Min-jun (32). The victory was sealed with a winning birdie on the second hole of the sudden-death playoff, resumed at the 18th hole (par 5). It is remarkable that after debuting on the Korean Tour in 2010, he achieved his first-ever match play win in his 127th event over 12 years. The winner's prize money is 160 million KRW.

Since turning professional, Park Eun-shin has competed in Korea and Japan, and last year demonstrated exceptional power by finishing runner-up at the 'national title' Korean Open. In this tournament, he notably swept six consecutive wins, including three victories in the group stage. He cheered, saying, "The final 1-meter putt felt like 10 meters." Ok Tae-hoon (24) finished third. Despite winning all three group stage matches and ranking first in Group C (6 points), he missed the final due to being outscored in points by Kim Min-jun (9 points) and Park Eun-shin (8 points).
