[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City's outstanding informatization projects are being introduced overseas through an English version publication.
The city announced on the 22nd that it has recently compiled cases of intelligent informatization carried out over the past three years and published the English version of the '2019~2021 Incheon Digitally Blossoms' white paper.
Earlier, in February, the city published the 'Incheon Intelligent Informatization White Paper (Subtitle: Digital Flowers Have Bloomed in Incheon)', the first of its kind nationwide, showcasing excellent achievements in intelligent informatization.
The city produced the English white paper to widely promote the excellence of intelligent informatization beyond Korea to overseas audiences.
The English white paper will be distributed to international organizations and overseas sister cities, and will be available as an e-book on the city’s official website. Additionally, in cooperation with the international organization based in Incheon (UNAPCICT), it will be introduced at an international event scheduled for November.
The white paper is divided into four sectors, containing 30 case studies: ▲ Digital communication administration with citizens (7 cases) ▲ Faster and smarter Incheon data administration (9 cases) ▲ Warmly approaching information welfare and administrative services (7 cases) ▲ Nationwide first and best Incheon smart city (7 cases).
Case studies for each sector can be viewed on the Incheon City Information Disclosure Portal and the foreign language homepage.
An Incheon City official said, "We hope that the English white paper on intelligent informatization will widely publicize Incheon City's excellence in informatization," adding, "We hope that the 'digital flowers of Incheon' will bloom not only in Incheon but also in various parts of the world."
