Ottogi Successfully Concludes the 25th Family Cooking Festival

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Ottogi announced on the 22nd that it held the 'Sweet Home 25th Ottogi Family Cooking Festival' at Hello Ground in Suwon Gwanggyo Alleyway.

The Sweet Home Ottogi Family Cooking Festival marks its 25th year this year. It is a family cooking festival organized with the purpose of promoting harmony within families and creating a bright society through cooking. A total of 50 teams participated in the competition, passionately competing in Korean, Western, Chinese, and Japanese cuisines.

The event also provided a meaningful time for participants to convey love and hope to our neighbors. The representative of the participants combined the entry fees from the cooking competition with a donation from Ottogi, the event organizer, and delivered a total of 2 million KRW to the Korea Heart Foundation to support surgery costs for children with congenital heart disease.

The grand prize, the Ottogi Award, was awarded to the Yeomunhee family. They received an electronic product voucher worth 5 million KRW and a trophy. The family who won the second prize, the Euddeum Award, was given an electronic product voucher worth 2 million KRW. Three families who received the third prize, the Sarang Award, were provided with electronic product vouchers worth 1 million KRW each.

Various experiential programs were also prepared at the event. These included the 'Vegetarian Cooking Class with Dusugobang,' where participants could make healthy vegetarian dishes; the 'Ottogi Children's Craft Class,' where children could decorate Ottogi-shaped plaster air fresheners; and the 'Ottogi Brand Zone,' where visitors could explore various new Ottogi products.

An Ottogi official said, "With the lifting of social distancing measures due to COVID-19, it is very meaningful to hold the Sweet Home Ottogi Family Cooking Festival after three years, allowing families to strengthen their bonds. We will continue to strive to create a bright and healthy society."
