[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Se-eun] An incident occurred where a man broke into an apartment home in broad daylight. It was confirmed that this man had visited the apartment at least three times.

The Bundang Police Station has booked and is investigating a man in his 20s, Mr. A, on charges of trespassing and theft.

The victim, Mr. B, was very shocked to find Mr. A in his living room after returning home around 1 p.m. after taking his eldest daughter, who had finished school, to an academy.

Mr. A repeatedly shouted "I'm sorry" but struggled to snatch Mr. B's cellphone and then fled. At that time, a piece of women's underwear was found lying on one side of the living room where Mr. A was standing.

The police tracked the CCTV footage and identified Mr. A as the suspect. Including the day before the crime, Mr. A visited the apartment where the victim lives at least three times.

Two days before the incident, Mr. A was captured entering the apartment, and at the moment Mr. B’s elementary school daughter got on and off the elevator, a pair of gray sneakers near the stairs disappeared. On the day of the incident, he stayed in the apartment for six hours.

Mr. A, revealed to be a job seeker, explained the reason for the crime, saying, "I was seen entering the password by people around me, and out of curiosity, I entered the home."

The police stated that they are reviewing the application for a pre-arrest warrant for the man.
