"Show the Greatness of Wando Residents for an Uninterrupted Future of 4 Years"
[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] On the first day of the official campaign for the June 1 local elections, the Democratic Party Wando County Regional Committee, including Shin Woo-cheol, candidate for Wando County Governor, held a joint launch ceremony on the main road in front of Judo, Wando-eup, and officially started the election campaign.
The joint launch ceremony was attended by National Assemblyman Yoon Jae-gap, chairman of the Haenam, Wando, and Jindo regional committee, candidate Shin Woo-cheol, local metropolitan and basic council candidates, and proportional representatives, all pledging victory.
The ceremony proceeded in the order of participant introductions, launch declaration, introduction and support speech by National Assemblyman Yoon Jae-gap, keynote speech by candidate Shin Woo-cheol, victory chant, and campaign staff performance.
Before his support speech, National Assemblyman Yoon Jae-gap introduced the attendees including candidate Shin Woo-cheol. Notably, he invited Kim Shin, a preliminary candidate who competed with Shin Woo-cheol in the Democratic Party primary, onto the stage together, urging him to actively cooperate for Shin Woo-cheol’s election.
In his keynote speech, candidate Shin Woo-cheol said, “Through this election process, I have come to realize what our county residents truly want and what genuine public sentiment is,” adding, “I will communicate with the great residents with a humbler attitude and more humble service, and together with the great residents, open a new marine era and the second Jangbogo Cheonghaejin era.”
He continued, “If you give me your support so that we can once again confirm the greatness of our residents and the Democratic Party in this local election, I will repay you with an overwhelming victory,” and expressed the meaning of the launch by saying, “Four years from now, I want to be remembered as a good governor who leaves with the applause of the residents.”
