Political figures including former President Moon Jae-in, Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's general election committee chairman, and former Minister of Unification Jeong Se-hyun are expected to attend.
The memorial service will be held under the theme "I am the awake river" and will be broadcast live on the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation's YouTube channel.
The Roh Moo-hyun Foundation's regional committees in Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Daejeon-Sejong-Chungnam, Busan, Ulsan, Jeonbuk, and Gwangju announced that they will operate Bongha buses for citizens wishing to visit Bongha Village on the day of the memorial service.
