[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) invited executives and staff from nine logistics companies in the Seoul metropolitan area to Busan Port over two days on the 19th and 20th, organizing an event to tour the North Port and New Port and experience the operation of the hinterland complex on-site.

The invitees were specialized logistics companies responsible for handling import and export cargoes of major Korean companies.

These companies handle 600,000 TEU of cargo annually at Busan Port alone. They are important customers who can increase the volume of cargo using Busan Port.

BPA plans to strengthen marketing by increasing visits to Busan Port for logistics companies in the Seoul metropolitan area in the future to enhance customers' understanding of Busan Port and create new cargo opportunities.
