Start of Conservation Project for 'Jeonju Mulkkoari Pul'

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Hyosung Advanced Materials announced on the 19th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Institute of Ecology for "Biodiversity Conservation and Ecological Culture Promotion."
According to the agreement signed the previous day, the two organizations will promote various activities to preserve the ecological environment and spread a culture of nature protection. As their first collaborative project, they decided to carry out a conservation project for the 'Jeonju Mulkkoripul' plant in cooperation with Jeonju City. This involves planting Jeonju Mulkkoripul, a level 2 endangered wild plant designated by the Ministry of Environment, in the Jeonju area.
Lee Geonjong, CEO of Hyosung Advanced Materials, said, "We actively support biodiversity conservation and enhancement activities to build a healthy ecosystem for future generations and wish to participate in this effort." Employees of Hyosung Advanced Materials also visited Yongyu Beach on Yeongjong Island, Incheon, to conduct a cleanup activity ahead of 'International Day for Biological Diversity' on the 22nd.
