Candidate Sung Gi-seon explained, "Warmly welcoming students who are coming to school is the starting point of our education," adding, "Education is not politics but solely for the children, which is why I started the election schedule by greeting the students."
Candidate Sung emphasized, "If it is an agenda that helps our children, there is no reason to refuse whether it is progressive or conservative," and stressed, "However, education should be entrusted to education experts."
He continued, "I promise to maintain the status of Gyeonggi education, which has led Korean education, and to create a new education that moves toward the future, not backward-looking."
