Seong Gi-seon, Gyeonggi Education Superintendent Candidate, Begins Campaign on 19th with Student School Attendance Greeting

Sung Gi-seon, candidate for Gyeonggi Superintendent of Education (right), visited Chilbo Middle School in Suwon on the 19th and high-fived students arriving at school.

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Sung Gi-seon, the unified candidate of the Democratic Progressive Party for Gyeonggi-do Superintendent of Education, began his '2022 Gyeonggi-do Superintendent of Education Election Campaign' on the 19th by greeting students arriving at Chilbo Middle School in Suwon City in the morning.

Candidate Sung Gi-seon explained, "Warmly welcoming students who are coming to school is the starting point of our education," adding, "Education is not politics but solely for the children, which is why I started the election schedule by greeting the students."

Candidate Sung emphasized, "If it is an agenda that helps our children, there is no reason to refuse whether it is progressive or conservative," and stressed, "However, education should be entrusted to education experts."

He continued, "I promise to maintain the status of Gyeonggi education, which has led Korean education, and to create a new education that moves toward the future, not backward-looking."
