[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] Lee Jae-myung, the General Election Campaign Committee Chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea and a candidate in the Incheon Gyeyang-eul by-election, raised his voice at Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, who mentioned the "Lee Jae-myung judgment theory," saying, "It is the duty of a politician to first explain the allegations of sexual bribery against himself before speaking."

On the morning of the 19th, Lee appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' and said, "Leader Lee Jun-seok often says unreasonable things."

Earlier, Lee Jun-seok claimed that the "Lee Jae-myung judgment theory" was working in Gyeyang-eul. At the Central Election Committee meeting held at the National Assembly on the 16th, he said, "Analyzing the early election trends, it seems that the judgment theory against candidate Lee Jae-myung is working in Gyeyang-eul, where we fielded a locally connected candidate," adding, "We will concentrate our efforts to elect candidate Yoon Hyung-sun and block Lee Jae-myung's use of parliamentary immunity due to his shielded candidacy."

Regarding this, Lee Jae-myung pointed out, "If you want to criticize another party's issues, you should first look at yourself," and said, "If the Democratic Party had sexual bribery allegations, the party would have been disbanded."

In response to criticism that the Democratic Party is also affected by sexual misconduct cases in the local elections, Lee said, "We feel a deep sense of responsibility because it was a wrongdoing on our part and must never happen again. Therefore, we imposed the highest possible disciplinary action," but he also pointed out, "If judged by the same standards, the People Power Party's situation is more serious. The People Power Party is not in a position to criticize the Democratic Party regarding sexual misconduct and should reflect more on their own issues."
