NH Nonghyup Bank Holds the 1st 'RPA Big League' for Business Automation

[Asia Economy Reporter Sim Nayoung] NH Nonghyup Bank (President Kwon Junhak) announced on the 18th that it held the 1st "RPA Big League" to enhance employees' Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities and automate work processes.

This competition is a fully participatory contest from proposing ideas to reduce costs, time, and errors during work processing through RPA to development. A total of 29 teams from headquarters and branches are participating, and the event will be held over five months from May to September.

Since 2018, Nonghyup Bank has improved customer service quality through fast and accurate work processing by introducing RPA, reducing 500,000 hours of work time last year alone, and achieving cost savings of 24.4 billion KRW.

President Kwon Junhak said, "We held this competition to spread the RPA culture and enhance employees' RPA expertise," adding, "Going forward, Nonghyup Bank will entrust repetitive and standardized tasks to RPA, allowing employees to use the saved time for self-development and more valuable work, thereby further improving customer service quality."
