Gyeongbuk Technopark, Recruiting Beneficiary Companies for Local Key Industry Development

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gyeongbuk Technopark, together with seven institutions in the Gyeongbuk region, is recruiting beneficiary companies for the ‘This Year’s Gyeongbuk Regional Key Industry Development Project.’ This project is conducted as a business support service supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Gyeongbuk Province.

The Gyeongbuk Regional Key Industry Development Project supports local companies engaged in four key industry sectors and their upstream and downstream related industries: ▲Intelligent digital devices ▲Life care beauty ▲Advanced new material parts processing ▲Eco-friendly convergence textile materials.

In the four regional key industry sectors, seven institutions including ▲Gyeongbuk Technopark (Future Mobility Technology Center · Advanced Medical Convergence Textile Center) ▲Gumi Electronics and Information Technology Institute ▲Gyeongbuk Automotive Interior Research Institute ▲Gyeongbuk Hybrid Parts Research Institute ▲Gyeongbuk IT Convergence Industry Technology Institute ▲Gyeongbuk Bio Industry Research Institute ▲East Sea Industrial Research Institute provide support programs such as prototype production, marketing, product upgrading, certification, and marketing.

Through this project, small and medium-sized enterprises with headquarters or factories located in the Gyeongbuk region can apply for support for up to two products per company and up to five programs per product related to upstream and downstream technologies or products of each regional key industry.

The integrated project announcement can be found on the websites of Gyeongbuk Technopark and each institution, as well as on the Regional Industry Information System (RIPS) website.

Applications for support will be accepted online through the Regional Industry Information System website from June 1 to June 14, until 6 p.m.
