This special lecture was organized to foster professional personnel for strengthening employment competitiveness in surveillance through collaboration between Yeungnam Institute of Science and Technology and Grand Korea Leisure (GKL).
On the day, the GKL Surveillance Team, including Team Leader Lee Chang-gon and three others, delivered lectures covering ▲the status of domestic and international casinos ▲post-COVID-19 changes in casinos ▲understanding casino surveillance tasks ▲domestic and international surveillance cases ▲employment information, enhancing understanding and satisfaction through practical Q&A sessions.
Yeungnam Institute of Science and Technology and GKL signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement in November 2020 and have been working to cultivate surveillance professionals, revitalize the tourism industry, and contribute to the local community.
Kim Hyun-joo, head of the Aviation, Hotel, and Casino Department, said, “Through the industry-academia cooperation project with the GKL Surveillance Team, we will do our best to cultivate surveillance professionals and revitalize the tourism industry.”
