[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Junho] Gwangju Nambu Fire Station (Chief Lee Jeongja) announced on the 17th that it held a Cleanliness Golden Bell event.

The event was promoted to reestablish awareness of integrity as public officials, to remind once again the importance of integrity, and to foster harmony and communication among employees.

By participating in the integrity quiz competition, the station spread key contents of integrity-related systems such as the Anti-Graft Act and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, thereby enhancing the commitment to integrity and establishing a culture of integrity.

The somewhat difficult and rigid integrity education was conducted in a Golden Bell format with multiple-choice, subjective, and true/false quizzes, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere that received great response from the employees.

Lee Jeongja, Chief of Nambu Fire Station, said, “Integrity is a fundamental duty of public officials and the most important virtue to practice in public service, starting from each individual employee,” adding, “I hope this Cleanliness Golden Bell serves as an opportunity to strengthen the commitment to practicing integrity and leads the way in the continuous spread of a culture of integrity.”
