Marking the 2nd Anniversary of Inauguration, Taking Steps to Fulfill Social Responsibility

Chairman Kim Hak-do: "We Will Communicate with the Local Community and Grow Together" On the 18th, Director Kim Hak-do is conducting a "Sharing a Meal of Love" activity at Pyeonggeo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 18th that it will promote various social contribution activities to strengthen communication with local communities in celebration of Chairman Kim Hak-do's 2nd anniversary of inauguration and Family Month in May.


On the morning of the same day, about 20 SBC executives and employees, including Chairman Kim, visited the Pyeonggeo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center located in Pyeonggeo-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam Province, and carried out the 'Sharing a Meal of Love' activity by providing lunch to local residents of Jinju-si.


Earlier, SBC also conducted a book-sharing event by donating about 1,000 donated books collected through voluntary participation of executives and employees to help create a resting place for local residents within the welfare facility at the Pyeonggeo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.


Chairman Kim said, "As a public institution, SBC is doing its best for regional coexistence and development through various activities to fulfill social responsibilities, and for these efforts, it has been recognized as a regional social contribution institution for three consecutive years and received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award." He added, "We will continue to communicate steadily with small and medium-sized ventures and local communities and become a reliable partner that grows together."
