Seoul Shilla Hotel Hosts 'Moonlight Cinema' Enjoyed Under Moonlight Illumination

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Seoul Shilla Hotel announced on the 18th that it will hold an outdoor cinema event called ‘Moonlight Cinema’ targeting families and couples during the evening at the outdoor swimming pool ‘Urban Island’.

Moonlight Cinema at Urban Island, presented annually, is a unique experience product that can be enjoyed in an outdoor heated pool in the city, gaining popularity among families and couples looking for a special hotel vacation spot. It is a representative product introduced every May.

With the outdoor mask mandate lifted and many couples expected to enjoy outdoor outings to escape the heat, the popularity of this year’s outdoor cinema is anticipated to be even higher.

Moonlight Cinema will run until October 3rd, and every evening from 8 PM for two hours, visitors can enjoy movies on a large screen at the Adult Pool.

This year, the films ‘Green Book’, ‘A Dog’s Journey’, and ‘Louis Wain: The Painter of Cats’ will be screened on alternate days.

Currently, ‘Green Book’ is showing until October 3rd, ‘A Dog’s Journey’ until May 31st, and ‘Louis Wain: The Painter of Cats’ will be screened from June 1st to October 3rd.

They also launched a Moonlight Package. This product allows use of Urban Island for four hours from 6 PM and is optimized for the Moonlight Cinema experience.

The package can be reserved by selecting from Deluxe, Business Deluxe, or Grand Corner Deluxe rooms, and includes admission benefits for Urban Island Moonlight (6 PM to 10 PM) for two people, as well as access to the fitness center and indoor swimming pool for two people. It is available until June 30th.
