Homeplus Launches Five Types of Electric Fan Under Private Brand 'Electrica'

The model is showcasing five types of Electrica fans at Homeplus Gangseo branch in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 18th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Homeplus is launching five types of electric fans under its cost-effective and design-oriented private brand (PB) ‘Electrica’.

Due to an earlier-than-usual heatwave, customers are increasingly seeking summer appliances. In fact, from April to the 8th of this month, fan sales at Homeplus have increased by 81% compared to the same period last year.

According to Homeplus on the 18th, the five Electrica fan models include ▲Basic (39,900 KRW) ▲Circulfan (43,900 KRW) ▲Desk fan (29,900 KRW) ▲Premium (43,900 KRW) ▲Foot-touch (44,900 KRW).

The thickness of the fan base was increased to enhance durability, and the Basic, Premium, and Circulfan models feature 5-blade fans that provide abundant airflow for coolness. All three models are equipped with ultra-low wind functions suitable for sleeping. The Foot-touch fan, which offers the convenience of a one-touch button operated by foot, also features 5 blades and provides sleep wind and natural wind functions.

Electrica fans accounted for about 50% of Homeplus’s total fan sales last year. Although overall price increases were unavoidable due to rising raw material costs for fans and other external factors, Homeplus decided to maintain the price of the beloved Electrica fans.

To commemorate the launch, a discount of up to 10,000 KRW is available when paying with 11 major credit cards. This promotion runs from the 19th to the end of the month and applies to three models: the Desk fan is available at a discounted price of 19,900 KRW, while the Basic and Circulfan models are discounted by 5,000 KRW and 2,000 KRW respectively.

Additionally, popular fan brands such as Shinil, Boguk, and Lezen are offering discounts of up to 20%. For air conditioners, a popular brand event is underway, offering discounts of up to 300,000 KRW when purchased together.
