On the 16th, the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency announced that Officer A, affiliated with the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, is being investigated on charges of touching a woman's private parts at a club (violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes).
According to the police, on the night of April 1st around 11 PM, Officer A, while intoxicated, attempted physical contact such as putting his arm around the shoulders of two unfamiliar women at a club in Busanjin-gu.
Although the women pushed him away, Officer A reportedly pulled one woman's wrist and touched her body with his hand.
A police official stated, "Officer A has currently been suspended from duty and will be dealt with according to the investigation results."
