[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Junho] Moon Hee-jun, Chief of Gwangju Western Fire Station, conducted an on-site visit and guidance for accommodation facilities related to the 2022 Archery World Cup, which will be held from the 17th.

According to the Western Fire Station on the 16th, this on-site visit and guidance were promoted to prevent safety accidents as many officials, athletes, and spectators are expected to gather due to the Archery World Cup.

On that day, Chief Moon conducted fire safety consulting to inspect the safety of accommodation facilities related to the event and to establish a voluntary fire safety management system.

He also listened to the current status and difficulties regarding fire safety management and urged the following: ▲ preparation of fire plans and self-inspection documents ▲ maintenance and management of fire facilities ▲ prohibition of closure, blocking, and storage of items in emergency exits ▲ securing fire lanes.

Chief Moon said, “As the world’s attention is focused on the Archery World Cup, one of the three major big events in the archery world, we will do our utmost to support safety management so that the 2022 Archery World Cup held in our city can be successfully and safely concluded.”
