Chosun University Hospital, Easily Manage Everything from Appointment Booking to Indemnity Insurance Claims on Your Mobile Phone

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Patients at Chosun University Hospital will be able to easily use all procedures from appointment booking to filing claims for actual expense insurance through their mobile phones.


Chosun University Hospital announced that starting from the 16th, it will officially operate the 'mobile app service' for patient convenience.


Through this, unnecessary movement and waiting times are expected to be drastically reduced, and actual expense insurance claims can be conveniently sent to insurance companies via the app itself without separate hospital visits or document issuance.


The mobile app provides various services including ▲appointment booking ▲appointment inquiry ▲medical record inquiry ▲prescription inquiry ▲waiting order inquiry ▲test result inquiry ▲inpatient life guide ▲actual expense insurance claim ▲child/adolescent registration (for patients under 14 years old).


Chosun University Hospital plans to further enhance patient services by integrating with 'CURE,' the hospital's next-generation integrated medical information system, within the second half of this year, adding a feature to pay medical fees via the app without waiting at the counter after treatment.


Hospital Director Kim Kyungjong said, "With the operation of the mobile app for patients, we expect to reduce the waiting time at the reception desk, which was the most difficult and inconvenient for patients," and added, "We will do our best to continuously build a state-of-the-art digital-based smart medical infrastructure to provide convenient and high-quality medical services."


Meanwhile, the mobile app can be downloaded and used by searching for 'Chosun University Hospital' on Google Play Store or Apple App Store. To promote the mobile app service and assist with installation, the hospital is operating a booth in the first-floor lobby.
