LifeSemantics Secures Comprehensive Operation Contract for Samsung Life's 'The Health' App Service

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Life Semantics announced on the 16th that it has signed a comprehensive operation contract for the digital healthcare service 'THE Health' app with Samsung Life Insurance.

Life Semantics was selected as the operator to provide software supply and maintenance services following the construction of the 'THE Health' app last month. The contract amount is approximately 320 million KRW annually.

Life Semantics will be responsible for app updates and issue response for 'THE Health', as well as managing the service provider operations. Having been in charge of the overall design and construction of the app, from collecting customer health information to providing customized feedback, it is expected to provide stable service. To ensure data security, management, and smooth service use, two specialized developers will be dispatched on-site to support immediate response in case of issues.

During the development of 'THE Health's exercise, meal management, and mental health solutions, Life Semantics enhanced completeness by linking APIs of three specialized service providers in each field, including data, service, content providers, and concierge services. Life Semantics plans to further advance the service by integrating its PHR (Personal Health Record) platform ‘LifeRecord’ with 'THE Health' in the future.
