Yoon Byeong-tae, Democratic Party Candidate for Mayor of Naju, Promises to Establish a Dedicated Department for Supporting Businesses, Industrial Complexes, and Small Merchants

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Yoon Byung-tae, the Democratic Party candidate for mayor of Naju City, announced on the 14th that he promised to establish a dedicated department for supporting businesses, industrial complexes, and small business owners during a meeting with representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises.

On this day, Candidate Yoon emphasized, "With public institutions relocating to the Innovation City and the Korea Energy Engineering University opening, new regional industries, including the energy industry, are beginning to take root. One of the most important tasks now is business support administration," and evaluated, "Naju City's business support administration is close to failing."

For example, convenience facilities such as banks, restaurants, and tool shops have not been established on the support facility sites of the representative industrial complex, Innovation Industrial Complex, causing great inconvenience to tenant companies.

Participants also expressed dissatisfaction, saying, "Until now, we have never had a single meeting with the mayor or officials from Naju City's business support department."

In particular, Jeong, a representative operating a printing and publishing business in Innovation City, confessed, "When relocating the company, I faced difficulties due to licensing issues, and it was only after raising the issue with higher authorities, not Naju City, that the problem was resolved."

Candidate Yoon expressed his determination, saying, "In the 8th term of the elected administration, we will prioritize fostering new regional industries including the energy industry as the top task of city governance, establish a dedicated department responsible for supporting small business owners and companies, and spare no comprehensive and professional support," and urged, "Let us create a business-friendly environment in Naju City, and companies create good jobs to invigorate the local economy."
