Goyangseok Gwangjin-gu Council Candidate Office Opening Ceremony Successfully Held

Jeon Hye-sook, Gwangjin (Gap) National Assembly Member, Kim Seon-gap, Gwangjin District Mayor Candidate, and Key Local Figures Attend Support Event for Candidate Go Yang-seok

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Goyang-seok, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Gwangjin District Council, held an opening ceremony at his campaign office located in Junggok-dong, Gwangjin District on the 13th.

The opening ceremony was graced by many dignitaries including Jeon Hye-sook, National Assembly member for Gwangjin (Gap), Kim Seon-gap, candidate for Gwangjin District Mayor, Kim Cheon-ho, president of the Gwangjin District Small Business Association, Park Chae-moon, president of the Gwangjin District Honam Association, as well as heads of Honam associations from various neighborhoods and candidates running in the local elections.

Goyang-seok expressed his gratitude to those who attended the opening ceremony and stated, “Based on my eight years of legislative activities and experience as chairman in the Gwangjin District Na electoral district, I intend to dedicate the next four years to Junggok-dong in the Gwangjin District Ga electoral district.”

He continued, “Although we narrowly lost in the last presidential election, an overwhelming victory for the Democratic Party of Korea is essential to create a growing, developing, and livable Gwangjin District.”

Finally, candidate Goyang-seok concluded his remarks by saying, “I need your support and encouragement for my election. I once again ask for the opportunity to work together with the residents of Gwangjin District.”

National Assembly member Jeon Hye-sook appealed for support, saying, “The victory of candidate Goyang-seok is urgently needed for the development of Gwangjin. Let us show unity so that not only Goyang-seok but also other Democratic Party candidates in Gwangjin District can win.”

Goyang-seok served as a member of the 7th and 8th Gwangjin District Council, holding positions such as ▲Chairman of the Budget and Accounts Special Committee in the first half of the 7th Gwangjin District Council ▲Vice Chairman in the second half of the 7th Gwangjin District Council ▲Chairman in the first half of the 8th Gwangjin District Council.
