[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] As Russia's invasion of Ukraine prolongs, support for the ethnic Korean community from Ukraine continues.
On the 13th, according to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sangwon), Korea Management Institute (CEO Kim Bohyun) donated another 10 million KRW following their contributions to the Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign and wildfire relief funds.
The donation ceremony was held the previous day at Korea Management Institute, attended by Head Kim Taekyun and employees, along with Gwangju Community Chest of Korea Secretary General Kim Jingon.
Korea Management Institute has been a role model in sharing by participating in various causes such as fundraising for the Gangwon Province wildfire damage and the Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign.
Additionally, CEO Kim Bohyun of Korea Management Institute is known to actively participate in personal donations as the 61st member of the Gwangju Honor Society, a group of individual high donors who have contributed over 100 million KRW.
Head Kim Taekyun stated, “We hope for the safe return of the ethnic Korean community from Ukraine, who have fled the war and have ties to Gwangju.”
Korea Management Institute, a leading company that started as an insurance administration agency in 1996, currently manages the four major social insurances for about 45,000 workplaces nationwide, ranking first among insurance administration agencies in the country. In particular, its construction industry specialized service, ‘Kimbanjang Premium,’ is used by over 3,000 construction companies nationwide, alleviating the burden of reporting four major social insurances for daily workers.
The ‘Kimbanjang Premium’ service won the ‘Service Innovation Award’ in the ‘Construction Labor Management’ category for four consecutive years at the 8th Korea Industrial Awards. Furthermore, the ‘Kimbanjang Program’ was selected again this year as a government-supported non-face-to-face service voucher provider, allowing client companies to adopt the service at a 70% discounted price.
