Support for Food Trucks Encouraging University Students to Donate Blood

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] DGB Daegu Bank visited Keimyung University on the 11th to address the nationwide blood shortage issue and participate in fostering a blood donation culture within the region by holding a ‘University Student Blood Donation Souvenir Support Project’ presentation ceremony and a food truck event.
The University Student Blood Donation Souvenir Support Project is an initiative where DGB Daegu Bank provides blood donation souvenirs during the ‘Love Blood Donation Festival’ conducted by the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross Daegu-Gyeongbuk Blood Center for local university students.
On the day of the event, Daegu Bank supported a food truck to encourage blood donation and cheer on the Love Blood Donation event, offering coffee and beverages to donors.
Im Seong-hoon, the bank president, said, “I hope the Love Blood Donation event will help resolve the nationwide blood supply shortage as soon as possible. DGB Daegu Bank will continue to present diverse social contribution activities and do its best to solve community issues.”
