World Premiere of Cannes International Film Festival at Lumi?re Grand Theatre
Director Park Chan-wook's film "Decision to Leave" will premiere for the first time at the Cannes International Film Festival on the 23rd (local time). Distributor CJ ENM announced on the 12th that the film, officially invited to the competition section, will hold its world premiere at 6 p.m. that day at the Lumi?re Grand Theatre. The official press conference will be held the following day. Director Park and actors Park Hae-il and Tang Wei are expected to attend. "Decision to Leave" is a romantic investigation drama about a detective investigating a death case who develops new feelings while examining the deceased's wife. Director Park, who won the Jury Prize and the Jury Grand Prix at Cannes with "Oldboy" (2003) and "Thirst" (2009), respectively, directed the film. The production company Moho Film produced it based on a screenplay written by Director Park and writer Jung Seo-kyung. It will be released domestically on the 29th of next month.
