Black Yak and Sansu Beverage Sign Agreement for 'Resource Circulation Project'

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] SK Gas has decided to undertake a resource circulation project that recovers waste PET (polyester) to produce recycled clothing.
On the 11th, SK Gas announced that it held a signing ceremony for the 'Resource Circulation Project with Eco LPG' at the SK Gas headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, together with BYN Black Yak and Sansu Beverage.
At the signing ceremony the day before, SK Gas announced that from the 15th until the end of the year, it will run the 'Eco Point Re: Promotion' at 201 SK LPG stations nationwide. This is an eco-friendly promotion event at SK Gas stations where customers can purchase eco-friendly products such as a box of 500ml bottled water or eco-friendly kitchen detergent once a day for 2,990 Muffin Points.
Sansu Beverage is responsible for supplying the low-carbon certified product I'm Eco bottled water and collecting waste PET, while Black Yak will produce eco-friendly fashion clothing using the collected PET.
Lee Deukwon, head of SK Gas's retail business, said, "Going forward, SK Gas plans to strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Corporate Governance) management activities by integrating various eco-friendly values."
