The academy is an in-person training session resuming after about two and a half years since November 2019. The lecture topics include business plan writing, commercial district analysis, SNS marketing, tax and labor law, and startup support systems. All courses are offered free of charge. The lectures will be held over two days starting from the 12th at Woori Bank’s headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Graduates will be eligible to apply for the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation’s ‘Small Business Startup Fund’ and can apply for startup loans up to 50 million KRW. Woori Bank plans to provide preferential benefits such as waiving internet and mobile banking fees and automated teller machine fees for customers using guaranteed loans.
A Woori Bank official stated, “Resuming offline lectures, which have higher concentration than online education, will enable more effective training.”
