Watt Intelligence, a specialized intellectual property company led by CEO Yoon Jeong-ho, is redefining the concept of IP (intellectual property) data visualization by introducing the next-generation ‘Graph Engine,’ an IP data visualization tool equipped with over 570 personalized combination and editing features integrated into the AI global patent search engine keywert.
While popular data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikSense have been focusing on expanding and supporting data visualization for business operations under the banner of ‘Modern BI,’ the Graph Engine, a visualization solution connecting patents?which encompass all core global business technologies?and visualization, is expected to play a leading role in IP data visualization through its development and provision.
The newly launched keywert Graph Engine, based on the technology called PiqBI™ (Patent Integrated Query Business Intelligence), is set to completely transform the landscape of existing IP data visualization work. Specifically, it automates data standardization, selection, computation, and publishing per user, accelerating real-time analytic visualization of large-scale IP data.
Through this, the Graph Engine improves upon the inconveniences of the traditional methods in the IP industry?used by companies, patent offices, universities, and research institutes?where tasks such as downloading, data editing and processing, index calculation, and graph creation had to be done manually in Excel, according to Watt Intelligence.
Meanwhile, keywert users can now perform rapid analysis and visualization in their desired directions for all IP data visualization tasks, including patent analysis, patent technology consulting, and patent graph report creation, through 30 types of charts and 50 core IP-based indices such as IP acquisition power, technology innovation index, and market share, which are automatically calculated. Even those without specialized training can expect to check data faster and create and utilize visualization reports in a completely new way compared to before.
At a pre-launch demonstration, a company representative stated, “For anyone working in patent analysis, keywert has brought innovation to the simple repetitive tasks and uniform outputs that were taken for granted in data visualization,” adding, “The Graph Engine will lead a revolutionary change in patent data analysis and serve as a compass in the era of IP big data.”
Yoon Jeong-ho, CEO of Watt Intelligence, said, “Since its first introduction in 2016, the Graph Engine has evolved into an analytical IP data visualization tool tailored to industry and user needs,” and added, “We will continue to introduce features that provide diverse value to users and create tangible changes they can feel.”
Meanwhile, keywert announced that it will hold an ‘IP Data Visualization Webinar’ on May 25 to enhance the utilization of the next-generation Graph Engine and share strategic methods for using IP data. Applications will be available from mid-May through the official keywert website and the keywert official blog, ‘keywert’s IP Note.’
